Hello there, I’m Maxine Dunn (and yes, people call me Max), a Colorado-based (but Liverpool, England born), voice actor, author and freelance writer.
From when I was a tyke I loved writing and talking.
Writing poetry and letter after letter to my family when I was at boarding school in Scotland, then all through my teens, 20s, 30s writing literally thousands of journal pages.
I loved to write (probably farfetched) ideas of business plans, biographies and extended (fictitious) interviews with people I found fascinating.
I simply cannot remember a time in my life when I didn’t write.
All during that time I became a model and had a wonderful 20+ year career in the fashion industry. (This was after being a tree expert and landscaper, but that’s a whole other story!)
My modeling career morphed into an on-camera spokesperson career which then morphed into a voice-over career, all somehow Divinely orchestrated to include a wonderful segue between each career.
I’ve also created many teleseminars and information products and specialize in writing sales and marketing copy, as well as motivational business material for freelance entrepreneurs.
I’ve been a dancer, horsewoman, motorcyclist, tree expert, skier, golfer, mountain biker (I don’t do that one anymore), backpacker and traveled the world.
One of my favorite things to do these days is write my weekly newsletter, The Creative Business Advisor. I love inspiring and motivating other creative entrepreneurs with wisdom, new marketing ideas, strategies to build their client base and create a fulfilling life that they love.
